Stop, rest and refresh

Dear Editor:

We would like to invite all Memorial Day and Labor Day weekend travelers to come by the rest stop at Escalante Canyon parking lot. We have a new Nomad trailer customized to serve coffee and cold drinks with cookies, to give weary travelers a break.

Stop, rest, refresh and be more alert drivers.

Our thanks go out to the Colorado Department of Transportation for bringing roadside signs indicating the entrance to that area. Also for picnic tables and porta-potties for the weekends.
