Doing the right thing

Dear Editor:

I would like to thank two residents of Delta for following that example. On Sept. 4, I lost my wallet in front of a Main Street business.

It was discovered by Merna Pope who turned it over to her beautician, Charity Cotton. The wallet found its way to the Delta Police Department. I retrieved the wallet and all of its contents on the following day. A big "Thank You" to the three parties involved — it is with pleasure that I can report a positive story about my fellow man, with a happy ending.
