Oil, gas lease will provide jobs, revenue

Dear Editor:

The BLM has the unique position to improve the economic well-being of the North Fork Valley, the State of Colorado, and the United States of America. The proposed oil and gas sale will provide jobs and revenue to the local area, the state, and the nation.

Increased use of domestic natural resources will decrease reliance on unstable, and increasingly more expensive, foreign resources.

I look forward to the approval of this important lease sale, and trust the BLM will not be swayed by the empty, misguided and uninformed rhetoric of the NIMBYs.
