Commendations for DPD, officer

Dear Editor:

I want to commend the Delta Police Department and specifically thank Officer David Parham for his prompt action when he and a Walmart manager worked together to return my wallet after I foolishly left my purse in a shopping cart. I couldn't believe my good fortune when Officer Parham called to tell me my wallet had been retrieved.

On another note, when my husband fell in our bathroom last week, Officer Parham was first on the scene after my 911 call. He is truly our angel!

Thanks to the DPD for looking out for us elders when we need help.
