It's time to complain again, but don't have a clue who to complain to. So I'm just complaining.
Just got two Colorado vehicle license renewal notices in the mail. One is for a 2001 Honda motorcycle. It cost about $22,000 new and now has 96,000 miles on the odometer. Amount due is $48.37. It has an 1800 cc engine and weighs about 1,000 pounds. Only has two wheels and logically doesn't do much damage to our roads and bridges. Seems a little high for a motorcycle but I guess I can pay that.
The other notice is for a 2002 utility trailer. It cost $800 new and is used maybe 10 times a year for about 300 miles. The amount due is $43.69. It has NO engine, has two wheels, and weighs about 300 pounds. With an ATV loaded it may weigh 1,200 pounds. Any logic supporting the fee totally escapes me.
Yes, I'm having a problem dealing with the consequences of the Ritter administration and the continuing consequences of continuing to elect the same problems in Denver who cause our problems all over the state.
Yep, I'm just complaining, mainly to point out the consequences of "compromising" good sense, voting in buffoons, and allowing stupidity to ruin our lives. Our town and county did not vote for this, but we are at the mercy of the East Slope. Sure wish we could secede.
