Congratulations to Delta Animal Control for citing 84-year-old Virginia Wright for having "cats at large" (fine $25 per altered animal). Stating her indoor/outdoor house cats "roamed off her premises" and were a "nuisance."
The City of Delta at Bluff Street is OVERRUN with "cats at large." Delta residents are allowed four cats, Mrs. Wright has five and the city has ordered her to get rid of one of her beloved companion cats. She was also fined $30 per cat for "licensing fees." Looks like all you Delta folks better race right over to animal control and pony up your bucks to license your cat and by the way, better keep them on your property (sure) or be fined by the most efficient City of Delta Animal Control. And one more thing, those of you who move away and leave your cats for someone else to feed and those of you who do not alter your cats and let them reproduce and cause a real nuisance, I guess you are off the hook, unless of course you are 84 years old and a kindly older lady.
