On behalf of the three families involved in the tragic carbon monoxide accident, we would like to give our most sincere thank you for the outpour of love, support, donations, and prayers during this difficult time. It is truly heartwarming and humbling to see so many people come together to stand as one when something such as this happens.
The ripple effect has been far reaching, extending from our small community to many surrounding communities. There are no words that could ever express our gratitude.
We would like to give a special thank you to the first responders who arrived quickly, took charge, and gave all three boys the best possible chances. When you live in such a small, tight-knit community, it is no easy task to be called upon a scene where chances are you will know the people involved. To stay calm and focused in the midst of chaos takes a special kind of person, and we recognize and appreciate your skill, heart and bravery.
We would also like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Delta County Memorial Hospital for the urgent care that was given, as well as for the knowledge and guidance in quickly getting the boys to the best-equipped facility for treatment.
We are truly fortunate to live in a place where people love and support one another. In a time when it seems that the bad outweighs the good in this world, our eyes are opened and we see otherwise. Our community is a place that knows how to celebrate together when times are good, and also knows how to pull together when tragedy strikes. We ask for continued support for everyone that has been touched by this accident, for we are all grieving together, and now we must heal together.
