BLM: Do the right thing

Dear Editor:

I want to thank the BLM for efforts so far to include public input for gas/oil leases. The important thing to remember is that the implications and impacts are most likely irreversible.

And are not only environmental, but can disrupt much more than we can anticipate — agriculture, tourism, wildlife, water quality to mention a few that are vital for a healthy and sustainable future. Our future depends on our wisdom to take care of the land we live on. Why take a chance at disrupting our valley for a short term gain? Let's live in harmony and with no regrets.
