New look, new ideas

c07 appleshedPhoto by Hank Lohmeyer New look, new ideas The recent burst of activity in Cedaredge with businesses investing in building spruce-up now includes the AppleShed. The few weeks of work just completed during pleasant late fall weather includes a new entry for the gallery and Loading Dock Deli that features stucco and cultured stone. The look is carried along the east and west faces of the building. The exterior remodel was the inspiration of Ty Williams, explained Connie Williams, AppleShed owner. The AppleShed marks its 20th year this year and, “It was time for a building facelift,” Connie said. The theme is designed to make the business “look more like a winery.” There are plans for installing an actual winery where visitors can see white and red wines being made. Also, Connie said they are working to assume operations of the tasting room and re-christen the new additions as Williams Cellars.
