Be part of community Christmas dinner

Plans are again underway for the annual free Christmas dinner held at the Stolte Shed in Cedaredge.

Thanks to the generosity of many organizations and individuals who support this Christmas tradition, dinner can be provided for many people in the Surface Creek area.

This dinner is open to all. If you are alone, or even if you have family, you are invited to come to the Christmas Dinner.

Takeouts will be provided for those who are not able to get out. Please contact Helen Barton at 216-6595.
Dinner will consist of turkey and ham along with all the other traditional Christmas dinner fixings.

Volunteers are needed on Christmas Eve to help set up, and, of course, lots of help is needed on Christmas Day to prepare food, help with tables, and then clean up. Please contact Les and Dorothy Mergelman at 856-6676 if you can assist in any way.

To reduce costs and increase efficiency, the Surface Creek Food Bank is in fundraising mode to replace their old refrigerators with new efficient ones. Any excess funds beyond the cost of food and preparation for the dinner will be contributed to that project.
