Cedaredge Elberta Lodge #106 hosted a soup luncheon to benefit Hospice & Palliative Care on Feb. 18. There were 11 different soups, all homemade by the good cooks of Elberta #106, as well as breadsticks, crackers, biscuits and a variety of cakes. A check for $400 was presented to Lynn Shirk, community development director for Hospice, on Feb. 27. Visitors are invited to join their meetings at 7:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Mondays of the month.
