During February, the Little Sprouts Community Preschool conducted the "Lots of Love Penny Drive." Throughout the month, the boys and girls were challenged to see which group could bring in the most pennies.

On Thursday, Feb. 28, the afternoon pre-kindergarten group walked the pennies to the U.S. Bank in Cedaredge, where the bank staff showed each child how the coins are mechanically sorted, counted and bagged.

In the end, the boys gathered $95.67 while the girls collected $50.52.
