A Utah motorcyclist was fatally injured Saturday, Aug. 31, when he lost control on Highway 65 near Grand Mesa.
The accident occurred at 10:49 a.m. at milepost 16.
Robert Farr, 70, from St. George, Utah, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Colorado State Patrol reports Farr was northbound on Highway 65 on a BMW motorcycle. As he rounded a lefthand sweeping curve, he lost control. The motorcycle rolled onto its left side, traveled off the right side of the road and down a steep embankment, and collided with a small tree.
