A watercolor portrait of “Shadow” by artist Dale Russell Smith of Cedar Mesa won an award in its category and was a popular show entry.
Seventy-seven artists from across the Western Slope and from as far as Texas brought over 200 of their original works to show for entry in the 40th annual Edge of the Cedars Art Exhibit that concluded on Sunday.
The best of show winner as judged by artist Vera Mulder of Fruita was a watercolor by a previous show winner, Cindy Brabec-King of Palisade.
