Fitness and fun for good

Moms, dads, boys and girls lined up for the start of the 4th Annual Thunder Mountain 5k and 10k event at Cedaredge on June 1. The course began and ended at the middle school with over 30 participants following a course that included a scenic stretch along Surface Creek Trail. The weather was perfect. The event is staged by the Cedaredge Rotary Club and proceeds go towards local scholarships, dictionaries for 4th graders, community grants, and the club’s many other projects.
