A constituent's remarks at the Cedaredge Town Board meeting on Sept. 20 were judged by the mayor to be straying from the topic and the speaker, former trustee Nelson Cederberg, was asked to stop speaking.

Cederberg was reading from a prepared statement on the topic of historic preservation efforts.
