The Cedaredge Skate Park has become a lonely place prior to the opening of school. Increased police patrols to help combat vandalism are thought a possible reason for the lack of activity there.
The Cedaredge police chief has noted an unexplained large decline in youth activity at the Cedaredge Skate Park that occurred prior to the opening of school.

The chief's report came during the town board's regular Sept. 20 meeting.
