Shelby Oard shared her thoughts on “If I were Mayor . . .” during the April 19 meeting of the Cedaredge Board of Trustees. She is one of three local winners of a statewide essay contest.
Cedaredge Middle School student Shelby Oard took time out to read her essay, "If I Were Mayor...," to the Cedaredge Board of Trustees, her proud parents and others gathered for the April 19 town council meeting.

The "If I Were Mayor...," essay is a statewide contest  sponsored by the Colorado Municipal League and COLOTRUST for all 7th and 8th grade students throughout Colorado.
