The Orchard City trustees have decided to decline an offer from residents of the Meadow View neighborhood to trade water shares.

According to discussion at a recent town board work session and at the town board's regular May 9 meeting, the proposed exchange of Meadow View's Leon Lake shares for the town's Surface Creek shares offers some real benefit for the town.
