Hotchkiss girls roll over Ouray

The Lady Bulldogs have been on a winning streak lately notching their sixth straight win with an 82-44 win over Ouray.The Hotchkiss girls upped their winning streak to six with an 82-44 win on Dec. 18 at Ouray.

Natalie Anderson scored a team-high 25 points for Hotchkiss.

The point guard scored eight field goals and took advantage of first-half fouls, shooting seven of 10 from the line in the second period.

Hotchkiss led 44-25 at the half.

Alexis Westergren was 5-6 from the line and sank a three-pointer in the final period to score 12. Daryl Batt added five goals and 10 points to the win.

Ouray's Cassidy Crowell, Miya Saunderson and Natalie Bolz all fouled out in the second half. Jackie Saunders was 8-8 from the line and hit two threes to score a game-high 28 points.

Hotchkiss will open the new year on Jan. 5 at Paonia.
