The Lady Bulldogs upped their winning streak to five games last week after posting non-conference wins at Basalt and Ridgway.

On Dec. 11, the game at Ridgway went into overtime after ending in a 41-41 tie.

Hardin scored eight points in the Bulldogs’ 47-22 win over Gunnison.If the Bulldogs have any one thing going for them this season, it's depth. Hotchkiss opened the season with a 55-44 win over Olathe, then defeated Gunnison in last Thursday's home opener, 47-22.

Hotchkiss won the contest by a 35-34 score.Their season-opener loss to Olathe was a tough one, but the Lady Bulldogs followed up with wins over Gunnison and Vail Christian last weekend. With 11 points, Natalie Anderson was high scorer Saturday at Edwards.

Hotchkiss will compete this season in the 2A WSL under new head coach Eric Hollembeak.The Lady Bulldogs have many reasons to be optimistic about the season. With 31 on the roster, they have enough players to field three teams, with little crossover.
