Bruins come back to win 10-7 over Paonia

Paonia was leading 6-1 before the Bruins tied the game at 6-6 in the bottom of the second and then went on for a 10-7 non-conference win.Last Tuesday's baseball matchup between Paonia and Cedaredge was billed as a good game to watch. As it turned out, it was a great game.

CHS splits baseball tilts

Cedaredge High School split a baseball double-header played with Olathe's Pirates on Saturday, March 30. Game one went to Olathe, 6-4, and game two was a 16-5 win for the Bruins.

Williams sets SP mark

Williams established a new meet record at the Cedaredge Invitational with a throw of 48-7. The throw erased a 47-9.5 throw by Norwood’s Stryker Lane back in 2009.Cedaredge High School's track teams placed in the top 10 at last weekend's Cedaredge Invitational. The Lady Bruins scored 51 points to place sixth while the boys gathered 97.5 points to finish third.

Lady Bruins 5, Delta 2 in tennis

c05 chstenPhoto by Wayne Crick Members of the Cedaredge and Delta tennis teams shake hands prior to playing their matches in Delta last week. The visiting Lady Bruins were ready for the match with Delta and finished the afternoon with a 5-2 win.The Cedaredge Lady Bruins swept through match play against Delta on March 26 at Cleland Park.

Delta started the afternoon with wins at numbers 1 and 2 singles and then suffered losses in the remaining five matches.
