Young Bruins’ tennis team playing better

When Derrick Griffiths was offered a job at Cedaredge High School, there was one catch.

"In order to accept the teaching position, they said I have to coach tennis as well," said Griffiths, who began teaching art at CHS in August.

Bruins maul Tigers 38-0 in Del Norte tilt

The Cedaredge Bruin football team seems to have found the ingredients for success as they traveled to Del Norte last Friday (Sept. 14) and handed the Tigers a 38-0 drubbing.

Dante Markley was on in the passing department as he threw nine times with four completions and three touchdowns.

Cedaredge has baseball all-stars

Cedaredge High School's baseball coach Randy Brown released the 3A's All-Conference baseball selections for the Bruins. There were four athletes honored for the elite squad and all were selected to the first team.

Williams leads Lady Bruins

Running in the rain, Sierra Williams of Cedaredge sets a new state 3A meet record in the finals of the 100-meter dash. Williams also won the 200m and anchored two winning relays. Her name is now on four 3A state meet records.
After two tough seasons and so-so performances at state, Cedaredge senior Miguel finally got on the podium.

On Thursday, Barajas had his best throw of his career in the discus.
