Webb signs Letter of Intent to Ft. Lewis

Lewis College in Durango on Nov. 14. Webb will continue both her academic and athletic careers in the fall of 2013 as a Ft. Lewis Skyhawk.

Webb, a senior, has accumulated numerous accolades and awards during her career at Delta High School. She was the Western Slope Player of the Year in basketball in 2011 and is expected to vye for that honor again in 2012.

Webb, a 5-8 guard, is a four-year starter for the Lady Panthers' basketball team and earned all-state honorable mention as a sophomore and junior.

Webb has been selected as an all-conference player in the WSL the past three years and was honored as a Wendy's High School Heisman finalist in 2012. She is a three-time academic all-state student athlete at Delta High School. For the past three season, Webb has led the Lady Panthers in scoring and is expected to be a factor for the title in 2013.

Other distinctions for Webb include stellar performances in volleyball, soccer and track and field.
The talented senior has a 3.95 GPA and has plans to study exercise science or psychology at Ft. Lewis.

The daughter of Jim and Willyn Webb of Delta. Webb had a large number of colleges hoping to have her become a part of their programs. In the end, Webb, and her family, were favorably impressed by what Ft. Lewis had to offer and ultimately made the institution her choice.
