In girls competition, post Kylie Hodges scored a game-high 14 points and point guard Natalie Anderson was 8-for-11 from the free-throw line to score 13 in the Lady Bulldogs' 61-26 win Friday over North Park. Hotchkiss held the Lady Wildcats (2-10 overall, 1-2, 1A/2A WSL) to single-digit scores in the first three periods.
Senior Marissa Cantrell caught fire Saturday to score a season-high 17 points in Hotchkiss' 59-35 win over West Grand. Cantrell sank two shots from the three-point line and scored 11 second-half points in the win. Anderson was 5-of-7 from the free throw line to end the game with 12 points.

On the boys side, guards Andrew Tiedeman and River Panish orchestrated a 57-35 conference win over North Park (0-4, 8-5) Friday. Post Chris Allen scored 14 of his game-high 16 points in the first half. Head coach Kyle Crowder said Allen, a 6-foot, 5-inch second-year player, performed an all-around good game against North Park. "He facilitated really well," said Crowder. "He was a lot stronger at post than he's been. He's just going to get more and more confident every week."
First-year varsity sophomore Cesar Gonzalez came off the bench to shoot a trey in the second period to help boost the Bulldogs to a 35-16 halftime lead. Panish and Tiedeman each scored eight in the win. Hotchkiss was 5-for-5 from the free-throw line.
On Saturday, the Bulldogs boosted their record to 10-3, 4-0, with a 72-59 conference win over West Grand.
