All Glass Monday champs

Monday night’s Coed Silver League tournament champions are pictured above. All Glass Station defeated US Bank, 12-6, for the title. Along the front is (l-r) Jess Gibson, Holly Hellman, Megan Olson, Nicole Melby, Janel Oberheu and Chelsea St. Peter. The back row is made up of Nate Ware, Mike Somers, Jacob Webb, Victor Carrillo, Ty Gallenbeck, Jacob Oberheu, Josiah St. Peter and Bill James. Missing from the photo were Josh Heinecke, Chantal Urquhart and DM Urquhart.
US Bank and Kwiki Auto Service began last Monday's final day of tournament play needing a win to advance to the finals of the Coed Silver Tournament against All Glass Station. The two teams played one of the lowest scoring games of the summer with US Bank claiming a 5-2 victory and a berth in the tournament finals against All Glass Station.

Tourney play to end men’s season

Number one Where's My Pitches was eliminated by Hellman Chevrolet last week and Big B's sent Mr. Concrete packing in elimination round games.

Aftershock/Classic Wood knocked off Balls Deep to earn the first championship berth in Thursday night men's play.

Amy Manzanares wins Class A Figure title

Amy Manzanares poses with her first-place trophy from the recently held Class A Figure championships held in Denver. The win marks the second time Manzanares has won the title following a win in the Mile High last year.
During a recent journey to the eastern slope to take in the Tokyo Joe's Body Building Championships in Denver two area performers were awarded the top honor in their respective classifications. Amy Manzanares was crowned the Colorado State winner in Class A Figure competition while Justin Granzella won his second title in body building (see related photo and article).

Last week for Silver Coed play

An upset over number two US Bank had the Monday Coed Silver League's number four team, All Glass Station, poised to win the tournamament title. All they have to do is play the winner of US Bank and number three-seeded Kwiki Auto Service.

Justin Granzella wins welterweight crown in body building show

Justin Granzella poses for judges at Friday morning’s (July 13) pre-judging portion of the 2012 Tokyo Joe’s Colorado State Body Building Championships.
After suffering from dehydration and failing to place very high at last year's USA Nationals in Las Vegas, former Delta graduate Justin Granzella was the hands down winner of the welterweight division of Tokyo Joe's Colorado State Body Building Chamionships held at the Buell Theater in Denver on July 14. The win marks Granzella's second win in three years as he was the bantam weight division winner in 2010.
