Mesa Repertory Theatre returns for second summer

Colorado Mesa University's Department of Theatre Arts is proud to announce the second season of the Mesa Repertory Theatre. This year, MRT will present two regional premieres — the musical Altar Boyz and an additional children's play, Wiley and the Hairy Man.

Women invited to outdoor skills class

Women interested in learning the basics of shooting, archery and fly fishing are invited to attend Colorado Parks and Wildlife's "Cast, Blast and Twang" clinic to be held in Grand Junction, Saturday, May 18, from 8 a.m. to mid-afternoon.

The three-part class is designed for novices interested in learning about these popular outdoor activities and is open to women from across the state; however, space is limited.

Training offered by Hunger Free

Lazaros Bountour with Hunger Free Colorado will conduct a training in Delta on Monday, May 20, 6 p.m., at the Presbyterian Church of Delta, 135 E. 4th Street, to train those working with needy individuals how to help their clients fill out food stamp, Medicare and Medicaid applications. This training is free and open to any organization serving the needy.
