Lazaros Bountour with Hunger Free Colorado will conduct a training in Delta on Monday, May 20, 6 p.m., at the Presbyterian Church of Delta, 135 E. 4th Street, to train those working with needy individuals how to help their clients fill out food stamp, Medicare and Medicaid applications. This training is free and open to any organization serving the needy.

The plein aire section of the Delta Fine Arts annual show will be May 22 and 23 at the Cedaredge Golf Club. Permission has been granted to use the walking path.

Keep your kids moving with Operation Kidsfit, a unique fitness experiences that includes a variety of training tools, fitness techniques and activities, along with nutritional tips, healthy lifestyle ideas and goal setting.

Operation Kidsfit will be held at Bill Heddles Recreation Center Tuesdays from 1 to 3 p.m. from June 11 to July 30.

Join the fun Saturday, May 18, when the Colorado Plateau Mountain Bike Trail Association (COPMOBA) will organize a bike ride on the City of Montrose's bike paths and trails. The event is being held in support of the Cerro Summit Trails project.
