 Mr. Morris was born Dec. 23, 1980, in Olathe, to Ron and Cheryl Morris. He attended school in Olathe until fifth grade. He was then home schooled while his family traveled across the country. He graduated in Delta in 1999.
He was a member of the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn. When he was 17 he worked in the dairy department at Wal-Mart. He enjoyed guns and shooting, his 1966 Chevrolet pickup, working hard and being active with the youth at church. He was a lifetime member of the NRA.
Mr. Morris is survived by his mother, Cheryl Morris of Delta; his father, Ron Morris Sr. of Naturita; two brothers and their wives, Ron and Rachelle Morris Jr. of Drumright, Okla., and Brian and Darla Morris of Delta; seven nieces and nephews; his grandmothers, Melba Thompson of Newcastle, Okla., and Matilda McGehee of Vici, Okla.; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Alvin Morris and Ralph Thompson.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Sept. 2, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Service Chapel in Delta. A funeral service will be held Thursday, Sept. 3, at 2 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Service Chapel.
