A funeral service will be held Thursday, Oct. 15, at Delta Pentecostal Church. Burial will follow at Delta City Cemetery.

Mr. Love was born May 22, 1938, in Delta, to Chester and Letha (Kinaman) Love. He spent his childhood on Redlands Mesa and attended school in Hotchkiss.

He married Norma Silka on June 2, 1957, in Hotchkiss. The marriage was later dissolved. He married Elsie Love on Dec. 29, 1993, in Bullhead City, Ariz. They would have celebrated their 16th anniversary this year. She survives.

Mr. Love was a coal miner. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and church work. He was a member of the United Pentecostal Church of Bagdad and Worldwide Pentecostal Fellowship.

He is survived by his wife, Elsie Love of Bagdad, Ariz.; four sons, Gene Love of Renton, Wash., Dale Love of Scottsbluff, Neb., Carl Love of Elko, Nev., and Lance Reed of Ada, Okla.; a daughter, Monica Peddicord of Baldwin, Md.; three brothers, Jock Love and his wife Lavern of Crawford, Dick Love and his wife Edna, and Bud Love, all of Delta; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Mr. Love was preceded in death by a sister; and a daughter, Bonnie Love.
