A funeral service was held Oct. 18 at Earthman Southwest Chapel in Stafford, Texas. She was buried in Mesa, Ariz., on Oct. 26.
Mrs. Cockroft was born Sept. 29, 1921, in Austin, to Carlin and Luella (Fuller) Aukerman.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 39 and the Past Matrons Club of Delta. She lived most of her life on her farm/ranch near Austin.
Mrs. Cockroft is survived by a son, Leroy Middle of Wichita Falls, Texas; a daughter, Sharon Fields of Tucson, Ariz.; five stepsons, Robert Cockroft of Pompano Beach, Fla., Dennis Cockroft of Holly, Donald Cockroft of Canton, Ohio, Garold Cockroft of Vacaville, Calif., and Jarold Cockroft of Fontana, Calif.; 22 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Ted Middle and William Cockroft.
Earthman Southwest Mortuary in Stafford, Texas, handled the arrangements.
