Preparations for the annual community Christmas dinner in Cedaredge are underway, and as always, volunteers are needed to keep this tradition going. Spending a few hours serving others in the community is a very rewarding way to show your Christmas spirit.

Turkey, ham and all the fixings will be served at a free Christmas dinner Friday, Dec. 25, at Stolte Shed in Pioneer Down. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the meal, which will be served from noon to 2 p.m. The celebration will culminate with desserts of every kind. If you would like, bring your favorite dessert to share
