 A Mass of Christian burial was held July 25 at St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Mrs. Foster was born Aug. 31, 1927, in Ipswich, S.D., to Frank and Barbara (Tuscher) Heinz. She grew up on the family farm near Spearfish, S.D., and graduated from Spearfish High School in 1946.
She married Ted Foster in Delta on June 11, 1947. She worked as a school secretary at Heath Junior High School for 16 years. She retired in 1981.
She enjoyed the arts, drawing, the Broncos, collecting porcelain figurines, cribbage and her family. Mrs. Foster is survived by her husband, Ted Foster of Greeley; three children and their spouses, Annie Relph and her husband Phillip of Phoenix, Ariz., John Foster and his wife Guyla of North Platte, Neb., and Jerry Foster and wife his Stephanie of Ruskin, Fla.; four grandchildren, Jessica Relph of Greeley, Jedidiah Relph of Phoenix, Ariz., Ashley Roehrs of Peoria, Ill., and Tracey Foster of North Platte, Neb.; two sisters, Mary Burnham of Seattle, Wash., and Theresa Hammond of Spearfish, S.D.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.
