First lady Jeannie Ritter spoke at the “Center Affaire” a “friend raiser” hosted by the Center for Mental Health on Friday, Feb. 12, in Montrose. Ritter joined Jon Gordon, executive director of The Center for Mental Health, in honoring those who provide critical services in times of crisis. The center covers a six-county region and over 10,000 square miles. Ritter, an advocate for mental health issues, spent the day visiting two school-based health clinics in Montrose County that are also served by the center.
