Dear Editor:

There are snakes that are extremely poisonous and aggressive towards humans, the black mamba for one. There are constrictors that squeeze the life out of their victims.

The boas and anacondas become large enough to sometimes kill and swallow humans. Government is a snake, it has poison and it has constriction abilities. Our founders knew and understood this. They spoke of government as being coercive by nature and they worked with the understanding that all the previous attempts at governance had failed to keep the snake under control. They knew they needed to build a system that could be attended by patriots and statesmen who would keep their heel on the head of the snake so it could not poison the people nor grow so large as to squeeze them to death.

But something happened a little over one hundred years ago. The snake got loose and began to bite, first only small bites as it was then yet small. The first bite spread the poison of statism/socialism/Marxism to our education system and it got help from the snake of Europe. Not many began to notice that at first as John Dewey, Antonio Gramsci, Georg Lucas, Karl Marx and others laid out their poison to change this nation from the inside out starting with education. Their plan of poison would bring their ilk to power eventually after the long march through our institutions. Schools first, then the media, then the churches, then the culture in general by destroying the very fabric of our society was their plan. Their stated goal was to bring about an end to the free enterprise system, to destroy morality and make what our founders knew to be moral and virtuous, just exactly the opposite. As this poison began to work, the march of the “progressives” began to work in our government with President Wilson, Teddy Roosevelt and all the way to FDR. The United Nations grew out of WW II with its stated goal of erasing sovereignty and the borders of nations. Then the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), the Tri-Lateral Commission, and the Bilderberg group, all with the extreme poison of the ideology of statism/socialism/Marxism and full blown Communism followed. They declared it was time for a “New World Order” as proclaimed openly by Presidents Johnson, Carter, Clinton, G. H. W. Bush and for sure Obama.Since WW II most of our leaders, including Congress and even the courts, have been so poisoned with this deadly mixture that it has allowed the constrictor to grow to such huge proportions that it can squeeze each and every citizen to death with over- taxation and enormous regulation. Most of these leaders have belonged to and supported the above mentioned groups to the extent as to be traitorous to our nation. The snake of government has poisoned us to death, squeezed us to death and grown so large as to totally destroy us. We have become soft, dependent, apathetic and knowingly ignorant. Is it too late to bring the snake back under control, under the heel of patriotic statesmen?

Possibly not, but it will take an effort I personally wonder if we as a nation are willing to undertake. The roots of our founders were forged in the “Great Awakening” that took place from about 1610 through 1740 and that came out of the Reformation. It is not strange that these men spoke of virtuosity and character and then lived it. They knew who God is and most were Christians. Their writings, the documents of state, all reveal that character of virtuosity manifesting itself in the realization that we must have the same underpinning as citizens for this form of government to survive for long. What else? Practically speaking, we must start taking back the ground we’ve lost with this election of 2010. We must put in office those who are willing to start killing the snake and taking back our most basic institutions. They must be willing to expose the snake for what it is, the killer of our nation. They cannot belong to or support the organizations mentioned above. They cannot be part of the current “in” system that is part of the huge constrictor that allows huge taxes and regulations and rules with sweet sounding compromises with the snake and it’s poison. They cannot allow further growth of the snake by letting it have power to tax and regulate more but must begin to dismantle all the agencies, regulatory and advisory, that are strangling this nation. Most of all, they must bring to justice those who walk outside the Constitution and basic law and show that elitism is a dying cult. They must serve this nation and it citizens and not themselves.

Are you ready and able? I can only speak for me. I am. I will not rest with any more chains around my neck. I am not advocating violence but as our founders knew, there comes a time and place where we can be pushed no further. Have you decided where that place and time is for you?
