Matthew Griffin and Pearl LaTourette Gifford
Jean LaTourette and Tom Gifford of Paonia announce the engagement of their daughter, Pearl LaTourette Gifford, to Matthew Griffin. Matthew is the son of Carmen and Robert Griffin of Mesa, Ariz.

Pearl is a 2002 graduate of Paonia High School. In 2006 she graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in human development and family studies. Currently Pearl attends the University of Colorado School of Nursing.

Matthew graduated from Red Mountain High School in 2001. He graduated from the University of Northern Arizona in 2006 with a degree in communications. Matthew is employed by the Anheuser Busch company in Denver.

The couple will be married on Sept. 5 at the Hudson Gardens in Littleton. They will reside in Centennial.
