St. Michael’s Catholic Church at 628 Meeker Street, Delta, will hold its annual bazaar Nov. 7, 8 and 9 at the church with a theme of “The Fabulous ‘50s.” Arrangements have been made for extra seating to accommodate everyone.

On Friday, Nov. 7, the event will kick off with a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. priced at $6 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under. On Saturday, the popular Mexican dinner will be served from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. The cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under. On both nights, the children’s carnival will open at 7 p.m. and family bingo (non-smoking) will begin at 7:30. The “Five and Dime” store will be open with homemade baked goods and craft items for sale. A snack bar will be available, cakes will be raffled throughout bingo, and there will be a drawing for a special prize each night.

A delicious roast beef dinner will be served on Sunday, Nov. 9, from 1 a.m. to 2 p.m. at a cost of $7 for adults and $3.50 for children 12 and under. This will be followed by family bingo at 3 p.m., the Chinese auction, country store, snack bar, cake raffles, a nightly drawing and the big raffle drawing at 5 p.m.

The first prize this year is a half beef donated by Delta Implement in memory of Jack Shea. This is in the form of a gift card from Homestead Market in Delta, so the winner can use it all at once or a little at a time. Second prize is a $300 gift certificate toward a purchase at Modern Appliance, third prize is a $250 MasterCard debit card donated by Germann Enterprises, and fourth prize is $100 cash donated by St. Michael’s Church. Tickets are available from parish members or they may be purchased at the door. You need not be present to win.
