c06_rolfA funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 22, at 10 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Service Chapel in Hotchkiss, with James Gall officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Hotchkiss.

Mr. Rolf was born June 15, 1959, in Denver, to William and Billie Jo (Farrenkopf) Rolf. He spent his childhood in several areas of Delta County. He graduated from Hotchkiss High School in 1977.

He married Loretha Barnes on Dec. 31, 2007, in Delta. She survives.

Mr. Rolf was a member of the NRA, United Mine Workers Association and Fellowship Christian Church in Grand Junction. He enjoyed fly fishing, hunting, four-wheeling, the outdoors, Harleys, guns, jeeps and his family. He was a talented photographer.

He is survived by his wife, Loretha Rolf of Paonia; his former wife, Eva Rolf of Palisade; two daughters, Rebecca Fletcher and her husband Jake, and Samantha Rolf, all of Grand Junction; three stepdaughters, Crystal Coe of Austin, Michelle Barnes, and Melissa Johnson, both of Paonia; his parents, William and Billie Jo Rolf of Hotchkiss; his brother, Brett Rolf and Mary Adams of Paonia; a half brother, William Rolf Jr. of Las Cruces, N.M.; a sister, Beri Blair and her significant other Mike Minniear of Hotchkiss; a half sister and her husband, Paula and Tim Rector of Gwinn, Mich.; a grandson, Dominic Fletcher; and five stepgrandchildren, Colten Coe, Dillon Coe, Shelby Wilson, Preston Ungaro and Amelia Ungaro.
