 A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 22, at 2 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Service Chapel in Delta, with Pastor James Conley officiating.
Mr. Hammer was born Aug. 29, 1987, in Meeker to William Hammer and Candy Collins. He spent his childhood and attended school in Richvale, Calif., and Delta.
He did design work and screen printing for Embassy Bikes for many years. He lived in Richvale, Calif., for several years before moving to Delta in 2001. He enjoyed hiking, camping, the outdoors, arrowhead hunting and BMX biking.
Mr. Hammer is survived by his parents, Candy and Jim Baxter of Canyon, Texas; maternal grandmother, Sally Collins of Delta, grandfather, Don Bowman of Fallon, Nev.; a brother, Cole Hammer of Delta; three aunts, Angie Collins of Delta, Dale Hall and her husband Rod of Pea Green, and Fay Flick and her husband Dan of Montrose; an uncle, Dallas Collins of Meeker; and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Dick Collins; and a cousin, Rowdy Hall.
