Janell Parry and Jacob Oberheu were united in marriage on June 20, 2009, in a double ring ceremony at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clay Center, Kan., with Rev. Paul Tessaro officiating the ceremony. Rev. Robert Oberheu, grandfather of the groom, was the assisting minister.

Janell is the daugher of Craig and Terri Parry of Morganville, Kan. She is the granddaughter of Dorothy Parry, Morganville, Kan., and William Hobaugh of Lindsborg, Kan.

Jacob is the son of Rick and Rachel Oberheu of Delta. He is the grandson of Doris Kruger, Billings, Mont., and Rev. Robert and Doris Oberheu, Lander, Wyo.

Escorted by her father, Janell carried a bouquet of alstromeria, daisies, peonies and roses in shades of pink and orange. The bride's personal attendant was Adriane Ohlde, Topeka, Kan., cousin of the bride.

Maid of honor was Kristi Parry, Morganville, Kan., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Beth Parry, Salina, Kan., sister-in-law of the bride; Tannon Osten, Columbus, Neb., friend of the bride; Corrie Johnson, Seward, Neb., friend of the bride; Cori Timmerman, Owatonna, Minn., friend of the bride; and Kari Schmidt, Salina, Kan., friend of the bride.

The best man was Adam Oberheu of Delta, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Anthony DiGiallonardo, Highlands Ranch, friend of the groom; Michael Somers, Delta, friend of the groom; Lewie Evans, Kansas City, Mo., friend of the groom; and Hunter Christianson, Tilden, Neb., friend of the groom.

Caden Parry, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer. Ushers were Layne Parry, Salina Kan., and David Parry, Morganville Kan., brothers of the bride.

Organist was Marian McKain, friend of the bride. Trumpeter was Andy Hatesohl, Clay Center, friend of the bride. Vocalists were Curt Parry, Narka, Kan., uncle of the bride, Craig and Terri Parry, parents of the bride, and Rick Oberheu, father of the groom.

Candlelighters were Jameson Jones and Amanda Bullard, both of Wichita, Kan., cousins of the bride. Guestbook attendants were Dora Cardillo, Billings, Mont., aunt of the groom and Claudia Kruger, Cody, Wyo., aunt of the groom. Program attendants were Amber and Sarah Kemmerer, Narka, Kan., cousins of the bride. Gift attendants were Aubrie Ohlde, Washington, D.C., and Stephanie Bullard, Wichita, Kan., cousins of the bride.

Reception and dance were held at the former Morganville Elementary School, where Janell attended through sixth grade. Reception hosts were Royce and Clarice Ohlde, Palmer, Kan., uncle and aunt of the bride; Mike and Kim Shannon, Clay Center, Kan., friends of the bride; and Gregg and Merriam Helmsing, Austin, friends of the groom. Reception attendants were Carol Harris, Pratt, Kan.; Cathy Jones, Wichita, Kan.; Mary Parry, Narka, Kan.; and Chris Bullard, Wichita, Kan., all aunts of the bride. The Morganville Lions Club prepared and served the meal.

The bride is a graduate of Clay Center Community High School and a December 2007 graduate of Concordia University Nebraska in Seward, Neb., with a bachelor's degree in dual majors of psychology and behavioral sciences. She was a paraprofessional at Lincoln Elementary School in Clay Center and a CNA at Clay County Medical Center. She was also an assistant seventh grade girls' volleyball and basketball coach at Clay Center Community Middle School.

The groom is a graduate of Delta High School and a 2005 graduate of Concordia University in Seward, Neb. He received his master's of science in physician assistant studies from Idaho State University in 2008. He is employed by Delta Orthopedics as a physician assistant.

Following a honeymoon to Key West, Fla., the couple is residing in Delta.
