It's not the losing; it's the person who won

By Diane Grudt

Dear Editor:

After reading and hearing so many comments about how all the protesters are just whiny, childish sore losers and need to get over it, I feel I must say this:

Of all the people who are unhappy with the election and its aftermath that I have talked to, they are not so much concerned because their party lost, but because Donald Trump won, and because of many of the things he's done since. It's not the losing itself, but the person who won. There's a huge difference.
