James Andrews

James S. Andrews died Oct. 7, 2016, at his home in Austin. He was 91.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at the Cedaredge Assembly of God with Pastor Bob Hillyer officiating.

Mr. Andrews married Beverly von Baumbach on Dec. 6, 1947. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1948 with a BSME. He was a professional engineer in Colorado and has his name on several patents.

He moved to Austin in 1992. He enjoyed his family, his church family, photography and fly fishing. He was a member of Cedaredge Assembly of God for over 24 years. He was also a member of the International Federation of Fly Fisherman Association.

He is survived by two sons, David (Pat) Andrews of Delta and Roger (Peggy) Andrews of Black Hawk; a sister, Zoe Stevens of Pewaukee, Wis.; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren with one on the way; and a great-great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Beverly; his daughter, Dawn; and his oldest sister, Mildred.
