Jason A. Blair of Olathe died unexpectedly Oct. 15, 2017. He was 39.
He was born Feb. 8, 1978, to William and Lewella (Gilder) Blair in Montrose. He spent his childhood in Montrose and Cimarron and graduated from Olathe High School. He studied diesel mechanics at the vo-tech (Technical College of the Rockies) in Delta. He was a mechanic and truck driver hauling logs.
He was previously married to Tina Gilmore of Olathe and Sally Parker of Camp Verde, Ariz.
Mr. Blair was a Denver Bronco fan. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, racing cars, building model cars, mudding, listening to country music and spending time with family.
He is survived by his parents, William and Lewella Blair; grandmother, Eleanor Blair; special friend, Tina Gilmore, all of Olathe; sons, Chandon Parker of Camp Verde, Ariz., and Johnathan Blair of Olathe; daughters, JoAnna McCormick, Rebecca McCormick, Carrie McCormick, Faith McCormick and Erin Johnston, all of Olathe; brother, Jarrod (Jennifer) Blair; and extended family.
A celebration of life service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Delta at 4 p.m., Friday, Oct. 20.

On Tuesday, Sept. 11, the Delta County Board of Commissioners called a special meeting to consider the board's response to the Bureau of Land Management's preliminary Environmental Assessment (EA) concerning the lease parcels proposed for the December BLM sale.
