Austin resident John Orth died Monday, April 25, 2016, at his home. He was 60.
A celebration of life will be held May 10 from 2-4 p.m. at Connie's Restaurant in Cedaredge. Cremation will take place with a private inurnment in Mesa View Cemetery in Delta.
Mr. Orth is survived by his wife, Ilene Orth of Austin; one son, Jeremy (Jackie) Orth of California; six daughters, Nikki (Kevin) Smith of California, Alicia (James) Salas of Montrose, Ann (Tim) Pobrik of Crawford, Billene (Jeremy) Wilson of Austin, Daisy Clark of Colorado Springs and Heather Clark of Hotchkiss; two brothers, Lyle (Paula) Orth of California and Ron Orth of Colorado Springs; a sister, Debbie King of Reno, Nev.; 23 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

At about 9:50 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, officers of the Delta Police Department were dispatched to a robbery reported at Arby's, located at 107 Gunnison River Drive. An extensive search of the area was conducted and the suspect was not located.
The suspect was reported to have walked into Arby's and after a brief conversation with an employee, was able to leave the store with a small amount of cash and coins.
