Delta-Montrose Electric Association invites members to The Morning Buzz, an outreach program that allows members to ask questions and offer suggestions.
"Cooperatives, like DMEA, are established to serve their members, and it's important to listen to those members," said DMEA CEO Jasen Bronec, who, along with other co-op representatives will be on hand to answer questions and listen to suggestions.
There will be no formal topic or presentation.
"We hope people can take a few minutes to ask us questions or tell us how we can better serve them while they pick up their regular morning coffee before work," said Bronec.
DMEA will provide complimentary coffee, specialty drinks and pastries. In Crawford, catch the Morning Buzz from 6:45-8 a.m. Thursday, March 4, at the Boardwalk Restaurant, 64 Hwy. 92. In Paonia, the Buzz begins at 6:45 a.m. Friday, March 5, at The Diner. For details, call Becky Mashburn at 970-240-1263, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
On Dec. 4 Delta County Commissioners Doug Atchley, Mark Roeber and Don Suppes denied the application of Paonia Holdings, LLC for a change of land use for the property at 41322 Highway 133, with an adjacent residence at 41402 Highway 133 and an ancillary property at 16180 Stevens Gulch Road.
The property is owned by Bowie Resources, LLC, and was formerly used as a coal load-out site.
