Margaret Joy Ohlheiser of Hotchkiss died of heart failure Friday, Aug. 28, 2015, at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction. She was 85.
A celebration of life will be held at 7 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 5, at her home, 26516 Redlands Mesa Road.
Mrs. Ohlheiser was born in Maryland Jan. 12, 1930, to Jennings and Melba Burkett.
She enjoyed making jewelry, gardening and traveling. When in her 50s, she visited her daughter's family working in Findhorn, Scotland, and Zagreb, Yugoslavia.
Mrs. Ohlheiser is survived by her husband, Richard "Dick" Ohlheiser; a daughter, Marcia Comoletti; grandchildren, Stephen Comoletti and Andria Keating; great-grandsons, Mackenzie and Spencer Keating; and her sister, Elnor Crago.
She was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Mason.

At about 9:50 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, officers of the Delta Police Department were dispatched to a robbery reported at Arby's, located at 107 Gunnison River Drive. An extensive search of the area was conducted and the suspect was not located.
The suspect was reported to have walked into Arby's and after a brief conversation with an employee, was able to leave the store with a small amount of cash and coins.
