Joyce Fogg died at her home June 17, 2016. She was 85.
A viewing will be at Taylor Funeral Service, 105 S.E. Frontier in Cedaredge, on June 22 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, June 23, at Cedaredge Cemetery.
Mrs. Fogg was born in Sweetwater, Texas, Aug. 10, 1930, to Roger "Dink" McGlothlin and Bonnah Smith. She spent her early childhood in Roscoe, Texas, and Ridgway.
She married Clarence Fogg on April 5, 1947.
She was active in the community. She was a member of the 3 Corner Club and was interested in policies and procedures of this world. She enjoyed playing bridge, beating her grandchildren at Scrabble and entertaining with coffee and sourdough pancakes.
Mrs. Fogg is survived by her husband, Clarence Fogg; three sons, Scott (JoAnne) Fogg of Hotchkiss, Bruce (Patty) Fogg of Las Vegas, Nev., and Chann (Carol) Fogg of Cedaredge; two brothers, Bassett "Buckley" Nix of Phoenix, Ariz., and James Broadwell of North Carolina; six grandchildren, Breanna Fogg, Brandi Dantzler, Tina Kosmach, Justin Fogg, Candyce Blair and Bobby Fogg; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Steve McGlothlin; and two grandsons, Guy Fogg and Dane Fogg.
Memorial contributions may be made to further research to combat Alzheimer's or to furthering education.
