June Patricia DeVries died July 27, 2016, in Delta. She was 75.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, at Taylor Funeral Service Chapel in Delta.
She was born Feb. 6, 1941, in Hagerman, N.M., to Alfred Morgan and Nina Childers. She spent her childhood in Roswell, N.M. and attended school there. She lived in Needles, Calif., and St. Petersburg before moving to Delta in 1964.
She married Leslie DeVries July 3, 1965, in Olathe. She was previously married to Whittley Morrison.
She enjoyed reading, traveling, joking around, and spending time with family and friends.
Mrs. DeVries is survived by one son, Terry (Ophelia) DeVries of South America; one daughter, Ronda (Dave) Watson of Delta; four brothers, Al (LaDonna) Morgan Jr. of Arkansas, Dick (Kathy) Barton, Tony (Debbie) Barton, and John (Patsy) Callaway of Texas; three sisters, Linda Keeth of Texas, Karen Harper of Delta and Sherry (Jerry) Berger of Arkansas; six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three fathers, Al Morgan, C.H. Keeth and Chester Barton; her mother, Nina Barton; a son, Whittley Morrison Jr.; two sisters, Sandi Garrison and Jeannie Morgan; and one brother, Jack Barton.
