Delta resident Mary "June" Mosteller died Monday, Oct. 19, 2015, at Horizons Care Center. She was 91.
A celebration of life will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Greeley at a later date.
Mrs. Mosteller was born in Chillicothe, Mo., June 18, 1924, to Birdie (Scott) and David Israel. She grew up in Chillicothe.
She married Sherman "Ted" Mosteller in 1941. They moved to Kansas in 1946 to raise their family, then to Colorado in 1956. They lived in the Greeley area for 40 years.
After her husband's death, Mrs. Mosteller provided a state-licensed day care facility for children in her home in Greeley and managed the family car wash/laundromat and rental homes in Kersey.
She enjoyed her large family, flowers, gardening and embroidery.
She is survived by two daughters, Wanda Brunemeier of Cory and Sherry Polcyn of Austin; two sons, Richard "Pete" Mosteller of Austin and Larry Mosteller of Joelton, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Mosteller was preceded in death by her husband, Ted; and two children, Alan "Moss" Mosteller and Theadora "Teddie" Mader.
