Longtime Paonia resident June E. Story died Nov. 15, 2015, at Horizons Care Center in Eckert. She was 83.
No services are planned at this time.
Mrs. Story was born in Pueblo June 19, 1932, to Ralph and Grace King.
She enjoyed reading the Bible and talking about her faith and hopes for the future. She was a member of the Hotchkiss congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Mrs. Story is survived by her son, Joel (Tara) Story of Meeker; her daughter, Barbara (Eric) Strebel of Hotchkiss; two granddaughters; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Melvin Story in 2007; and two sons, Shane Story and Mark Story.
